Ross Sewage who?

Raw Sewage Avoid Contact
Thank you for the warning Seattle... much like my chicken, I like my sewage cooked to 165 degrees, thanks! Say no to raw sewage!

Parts of Seattle have a combined sewer overflow system, where both stormwater and sewage are collected in the same pipes. During heavy rains, the volume of water can exceed the system's capacity, leading to overflows that discharge untreated sewage and stormwater directly into water bodies, including Puget Sound. It's ridiculous, and a lot of long time Seattleites are aware of this, and a lot of new people are shocked by this. They're doing what they can to change this...maybe.

This however...I'm not sure this has anything to do with that. No this was raw sewage literally leaking, seeping, flowing, living it's best life in the road for DAYS. Raw Sewage. In the road. For days. I found no news about this. I was never able to time it right where I was able to ask someone what exactly was going on here. How can we have raw sewage just streaming down the road for days on end? This wasn't the only sign either. There were several signs. Might I add...this is not a handwritten impromptu sign written off the cuff in a dire emergency. This is an official...created...sign. Someone had to go to someone else and request this sign be made, which means this is an ongoing problem, or expected to be. Do they make Depends for the streets?  Huggies???

We noticed this while walking our dogs down Western Ave near the waterfront. This was here for days on end. I hope no one else had their dog walking through this.
